COVID-19 Updates and Considerations

With the public health escalation that’s taken place this past week in regards to the Covid-19 outbreak, we understand that everybody is having to implement and adapt to rapid changes. We’ve seen this on our end with the organizations we work with –– from postponed events, shifted production schedules, and moving to an off-site workforce. We’re all quickly adjusting to the new normal.

In response to this, we want to provide proactive help however we can:

Free Leadership Messaging Videos

During the month of March, we’re offering free production services to any businesses/organizations that want to communicate any critical information about their response to Covid-19 to the general public. These will involve minimal production + editing (i.e. 1 person talking to camera, basic lower thirds, logo + call to action at end) and will be produced on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to our own bandwidth.

At Cost ‘Digital Event’ Videos

In order to provide a viable alternative to in-person live events, we’re producing Pre-Recorded or Live-Streamed Videos that will be used in-place of a live event at a very large discount. We’re pretty flexible here, but we want to encourage anybody who would otherwise be holding an in-person event to instead opt for releasing a video digitally to your audience instead. This could be a company announcement video, with a member of the leadership team speaking about 2020 goals (like the kind Nintendo puts out every year), or a documentary-style video in order to drive fundraising (like this one we did with NeighborWorks), or even an employee appreciation video! We’ll be applying this discount to any eligible projects until the WHO or CDC begins encouraging large public events again.

Increased Safety Procedures for Existing Projects

For all shoots taking place over the next few months, we will keep our crew limited to one (1) person and will implement the following:

  • Disinfecting video equipment with alcohol wipes before and after video shoots
  • Encouraging plenty of space between those on set (no clip on mics)
  • Distributing hand sanitizer to all talent + crew every hour

Additionally, if you would like to push back production dates for an existing project, or transition to an approach that would be more motion graphics or animation heavy, please reach out to us. We’re always flexible and are more than happy to work out a solution to any logistical or timing problems you might be facing.

We encourage everyone to remain safe, calm, and to stay tuned to reputable news sources and the WHO/CDC websites. Stay tuned to our own social media channels if you want recommendations for which Netflix shows to watch, which board games to play, as well as some original content.

Best wishes,

Stephen, Zack, and Lexi
