Howdy! I’m Lexi, Anthem’s Creative Director. We’ve been visiting different community gardens and farms around the city and interviewing the people who founded and maintain them. We call this series, ‘In Bloom.’
In this episode, we interviewed Kristin Hughes, founder of the Octopus Garden in Pittsburgh’s Friendship neighborhood. She explained the garden’s origin, the impact it has on the community today, and even where the famed octopus came from.
