Howdy! Anthem’s Creative Director, Lexi, here. As Anthem grows as a business, it seems only natural for us to start a series about literal growth.
So over the past few weeks, we’ve been trekking all over the tri-river area, interviewing the people behind community gardens and urban farms. We’re interested in how a community garden can spring up in an abandoned lot overnight, the kind of people it takes to make something like that happen, and how a neighborhood can benefit from this.
We call this series, ‘In Bloom.’
In this first episode, we sat down with the Edible Garden Manager at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Michael Bechtel, who told us how the rooftop vegetable garden runs as well as its importance.
We hope you’re as excited about this new series as Michael (and Anthem) are about vegetables.
